*I will preface this review by saying that I am not a health nut. I am the guy at Pinks @ 2am waiting in line for a spicy Polish dog with chili fries.*
The mix makes great waffles. I was expecting it to be one of those concessions I'd have to make where the waffles were healthier but the taste was diminished. This is certainly not the case and the very first waffle I made was eaten without syrup because it was just so good. Bob's Red Mill makes great products and seems to maintain a very high level of quality. I also recommend their Quinoa.

I've been buying this pancake mix since way before the Internet era. My parents lived in Oregon and when visiting we always went to the Old Red Mill to buy cases of this pancake mix to bring home. I can't recommend it more highly. I've read other reviews where they mention adding extra ingredients but, in my estimation, you don't need to add anything to this mix to make truly wonderful pan "cakes." In fact, I like eating them just with butter, no syrup, they're so tasty. My last cake I add molasses for a special treat.

Quite good and good for you, when cooking don't leave out the oil or butter, or at least replace some of the milk with cream. I have a two year grandson that does't like to eat; but, he will eat lots of pancakes.

We get this product from wholefoods since it has the same price as amazon but if you subscribe and save then it becomes cheaper in amazon. The ingredients of this pancake mix is really healthy but it does not have the nasty taste of other healthy pancake mix. I add bananas and walnuts to the mix and then put some stevia (natural sweetener).
