 Excellent choice for protein, best price around. August 5, 2008
Also a gastric bypass surgery patient. This was a life saver for me, the whey and other protein drink were just plain disgusting. This is a yummy source of needed protein, without the sugar. And like another reviewer, all I could find in the stores were milk chocolate, so to find the variety pack in no-sugar added was super.

Just recently had the gastric by-pass and needed a sugar free version of Carnation Instant Breakfast. All you can find at the stores is chocolate. I appreciate it so much to finally have a veriety. It is great!
Great energy drink February 12, 2008
I always carry this when I am backpacking. It serves as a midmorning "snack" and gives me a much needed energy boost that lasts until lunchtime. It tastes really delicious when mixed with cold, mountain spring water! I am very, very weight conscious when I hike, but this is a "luxury" I won't do without.

I got my first taste of Carnation Instant Breakfast when I was in the hospital. A nurse recommended it over ensure so I tried it and was so surprised. It tastes wonderful! I buy it all the time now and this is the best deal I've seen! Thanks!
