solid, ease to install, lots of options January 1, 2009
This mobo is ease to install. Upgraded firmware from the website and install these items with no problems: Intel quad q6600, 8gb PC2-8500 memory, 1.5TB SATA drive, evga 9600 GSO graphics card, and a DVD RW. All was done without any hiccups. After installing Vista 64 bit, I had to upgrade the driver for speakers and everything worked. Have not tried the HD audio. Gigabyte website is easy to navigate to find new drivers and BIOS firmware. Highly recommended.
