 Excellent Printer January 9, 2009
This printer is awesome. I read prior reviews about setting up the wireless part and how difficult it is. I had no problems at all - I just followed the instructions and it worked perfectly on two laptops in the house. The print quality is excellent and the speed is amazing.

Great product. Love the wireless printing. Initial setup was easy, but had to restamp the drive on my laptop and for some reason setting it up again was a little more difficult but still not that bad. Overall very satisfied. Warms up really fast even after weeks of being in standby mode. Excellent alternative when color printing is not needed. I decided to supplement with an all in one color for those rare occasions that I HAVE to print in color. Great print quality. Very reasonable.

We had a HP Photosmart and we were buying new ink cartridges every three or four months. We greatly disliked our old ink jet printer. We love our new Brother Laser Printer. If you follow the directions it is easy to set up and works wonderfully. I had it up and working on my home network in five minutes and I had all four laptops (two Macs and two HP's) configured within ten minutes. With shipping and tax it only cost me $95. What a deal for a workhorse kind of printer. I will never go back to an ink jet printer.

This is an excellent Printer. I have it hooked to my network router by ethernet and it works great. It does draw a lot of amps when it goes to print the first page. I had to unplug it from my UPS.
Brother Wireless Laser Printer Scores Big January 8, 2009
I consider this printer to be a big bargain. Installation was easy, I just followed the directions. This has eliminated the line to use the printer as my wife can now print from her laptop upstairs and my son can print from the pc in his room while I work on my pc in my home office. I have used Brother printers for ten years and have never been disappointed. Supplies are reasonbly priced and readily available. If you don't need color or sophisticated graphics take a close look at this or other Brother printers.
