 GeForce 9600gt a great buy. December 25, 2008
I'm not a heavy video user, I just needed a video card to do 1900x1200 for a new monitor. It works & has the 90-degree rotate feature that I needed for my 2693hm monitor. I have a 720p TV set up as a 2nd display via component cables 30 feet away. I'm not sure if it is my computer or video card, but if I leave the monitor in the 90-degree rotated mode and come back in the morning, the computer has changed the primary monitor to the TV and the primary monitor does not function. A reboot fixes it & puts it back in the non-rotated mode. Not sure it's the fault of the graphics card, but that's why I'm only giving it 4 stars. Now I send netflix instant view movies to the 720p 42" TV & it looks great.
 Exceeds expectations December 24, 2008
I had spent a long time trying to decide between video cards when I found this one on sale on Amazon. I'm glad I waited; not only was this a fantastic deal (with MIR) but it performs circles around my old card, runs World of Warcraft on almost all high settings with no issues and is SUPER QUIET (well, other than when you first boot up..I was scared at first but then the fan dropped to silent after I got the drivers installed).
If you're looking for a budget card that can perform, this is the card you want.

The performance of this graphics card exceeded my expectations for use with my HD TV Tuner. With the rebate, this was an excellent value.

This product itself is wonderful...I gave it one star based on amazon's false advertising of included accessories and games (company of heroes). When I didn't receive these items Amazon sent me two more video cards to make it right and still didn't include the accessories or games. Now they tell me they can't help and won't help me but I'm more than welcome to find these items myself and they'll refund the difference for them. I've never in all my years had to rectify a problematic purchase on my own and I'm very disappointed! I'm gonna take all my future business to another etailer!!

Very good product. Excellent presentation. Good performance. Pair it with a 2MB (or more) cache dual processor and you are ready for gaming (Call of Duty 4, Crysis, Unreal Tournament 4, etc.).
